Event Description:

African Family Picnic is an annual event that promotes African culture and traditions. The event showcases attendees in their African attires, food, music, cultural displays, languages, etc.

The event also helps businesses to network by promoting African businesses and creating awareness of African products that can be sought or bought here in the UK.

We also promote health awareness. We support a charity organisation called Sickle Cell Care Manchester and help to promote awareness around sickle cell disease by encouraging people to donate blood to the NHS.

The event also provides fun rides for kids, making sure the kids have as much fun as possible. There are also games for both adults and kids with prizes to be won.

The event is free and open to the general public. It is also supported by the Salford Council, who provides access to the Park yearly.
